What happens if I put the same link in my email more than once?

Putting the same link in your email more than once is not a problem.

Often times people will have a link to their main website address appear more than once in an email.

In your report section, the clicks report for the link (assuming it is identical) will be grouped together.

For example:
If you have a logo that links to www.mywebsite.com and a link in your signature to www.mywebsite.com, the clicks report will show you the report for the www.mywebsite.com link with everything combined. You will know how many times that link was clicked (and by whom) but you will not know which clicks were from the logo and which clicks were from your signature.

If the link URL is even one character different, then it will track separately.

The links www.mywebsite.com and www.mywebsite.com/specials will track separately.

Where do I go to see my clicks reports?

  1. From the left navigation menu, go to Reports and select Email Analytics.
  2. At the bottom of the page under the title "Email Analytics", select Campaign Name.
  3. On top of the page, there will be five options, select your desired report (Total Clicks, Unique Clicks, Not clicked, Clicks by URL) from the Clicks drop down menu.
